This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data processed by CUBITRON SRL — including data resulting from communications via WhatsApp, through the contact form on the website, by e-mail or by telephone. Full details on how we process data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

How to request data deletion — step by step

  1. Send a deletion request through any of the channels below:
    • e-mail to [email protected], with the subject “Data deletion request”;
    • WhatsApp message or phone call at +40 785 123 433, with the text “I request the deletion of my data”;
    • post to: CUBITRON SRL, str. Albac, nr. 2, et. P, ap. 1, Cluj-Napoca, Cluj county, Romania.
  2. State in your request, so that we can identify your data:
    • your name;
    • the channel through which you communicated with us (WhatsApp, the website form, e-mail, telephone);
    • the contact details used at that time (the telephone number for WhatsApp, or the e-mail address for the form/e-mail).
  3. Receive confirmation of the request — we confirm receipt within 3 working days at the latest.
  4. We delete the data — we process the request within 30 calendar days at the latest and send you a final confirmation once the deletion has been carried out.

Which data is deleted

  • the WhatsApp conversations you had with us and the associated data (telephone number, profile name);
  • the messages sent through the contact form, including the copies stored by our form service provider (Forminit);
  • e-mail correspondence and the associated contact details;
  • any other personal data we hold about you that is not subject to a legal exception.

Exceptions

Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request, if we have a legal obligation to do so (for example accounting or tax documents, for the period required by law) or if it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim (Art. 17(3) GDPR). In such cases, we inform you which data we retain and why.

Data stored by WhatsApp / Meta

A request addressed to us covers the data stored by Cubitron. The copies of the conversations stored by WhatsApp in your account can be deleted directly from the application (the “Delete chat” option). For the data processed by Meta Platforms as a controller, please consult the WhatsApp privacy policy.
